在计算机科学与技术一级学科下，自主设立目录外二级学科“智能教育”博士点，开展AI与教育的交叉融合研究，用AI理论与技术推动教育现代化，培养“智能+教育”的复合型博士研究生人才。

2020年，首届智能教育博士班顺利开班。整合跨学科优势资源、配备“豪华”导师组阵容，是我校在培养智能教育高层次人才上迈出的坚实的步伐，是学校、学科如何更好的服务国家重大需求的一种积极回应，也是对交叉学科如何更好培育高层次人才的创造性探索。
